Cleric Mohamad Ali El-Husseini conferred in his speech to the issue of terrorism in general, he said that “What happened and what is happening of terrorist attacks in our country in general, Europe and particularly in Paris, is forbidden in Islam, absolutely unacceptable, and unjustified according to the teachings and principles of Islam”; pointing to the fact that “Western governments are asked to the designate terrorists by their names, and limit their terrorist acts to them, not their Religion or Nation, as this is also unacceptable, because it is incitement and distortive to the real facts”.
He added: “Errant deeds, in creating fads and causing in the killing and abusing people, are opposing Islam and its teachings, principles and values”; pointing out that: “This misguided approach applies to the first part of the following dignified verse”: “Who ever killed a soul, except for a soul slain, or for sedition in the earth, it should be considered as though he had killed all mankind
